The speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmitry Lazutkin spoke about this on April 25.
The electronic account does not provide for passing the VLK. We are talking about updating data – changing place of residence, marital status, booking, reservations, etc.,” he noted in a conversation with Radio Liberty.
After the new law on mobilization comes into force, men of military age in Ukraine and abroad will have the opportunity to update military registration data within 60 days, in particular, through an electronic account. Thus, men from abroad do not need to return to Ukraine to update their data.
It is not necessary to go to Ukraine, but if a person wants to defend the Motherland, wants to join the Defense Forces, then, of course, it is worth coming to Ukraine… For those abroad, there will be an opportunity to do this (update military registration data) – “Rakurs “) at consular offices, as well as through an electronic account,” said Lazutkin.
He added that the Ministry of Defense is now doing everything possible to ensure that the electronic account through which data can be updated is operational in June.
On April 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that there were queues of people wishing to update their data at the TCC.
Those liable for military service will be able to fulfill the requirement of the law on strengthening mobilization and update their data at any convenient time, the Ground Forces say.
