The Vostok Air Command said that a guided aircraft missile was shot down at approximately 17.00 over the Sinelnikovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region.
Shortly before that, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the movement of a high-speed target towards the Dnieper.
Ukrainian specialists are studying the new Russian X-69 missile, which the enemy used in an attack on the Trypillya thermal power plant. It is assumed that the Patriot system will also be able to withstand it.
As a result of a massive missile attack on the night of April 11, the Russian army completely destroyed the most powerful power plant in the Kyiv region – the Trypillya Thermal Power Plant. It was the largest supplier of electricity in the Kyiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions.
