The head of the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country said that the Russian military allegedly “destroyed the myth of the superiority of Western weapons.”
Russia has said it will step up attacks on logistics centers and Western weapons depots in Ukraine after the United States accepted aid to the Ukrainian military. This was said by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at a meeting of the board of the Russian Ministry of Defense, reports RosSMI.
According to Shoigu, Russia has allegedly “debunked the myth of the superiority of Western weapons,” and Russian troops are holding the initiative on the front line.
“In accordance with the threats of the United States and its allies, we will continue to improve the composition and structure of the Armed Forces, increase the production of the most popular weapons and military equipment centers and storage bases for Western weapons,” he said.
As you know, on April 20, the US House of Representatives passed a bill to provide almost $61 billion in aid to Ukraine. Most of this amount will go to military support. And on the evening of April 24, the Senate also supported the bill.
According to media reports, in the first batch of aid, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive a large number of armored vehicles, including Bradley infantry fighting vehicles that have proven themselves on the battlefield, as well as ATACMS long -range missiles.
