Russian troops in the Donetsk region are trying to capture the village of Ivanovskoye and the outskirts of Bogdanovka to enter Chasovy Yar. This was announced by the OSUV speaker Khortytsia Nazar Voloshin on the air of the telethon on Tuesday, April 23.
“On the eastern front, the situation has worsened a bit in recent days, but there have been no major significant changes in the area of responsibility of the OSUV Khortytsia The hottest destinations today are Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky,” he said.
The situation in the area of hostilities is complicated, but under control. The Russian Army in several areas and directions does not stop trying to continuously attack the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, using the same artillery, tanks, drones of various types, and aviation.
“The invaders are trying by any means to capture the village of Ivanovskoye and the outskirts of Bogdanovka and enter Chasovoy Yar, where our soldiers, at the cost of a titanic effort, were able to hold off the enemy for several days and stabilize the situation in this direction,” said Voloshin.
The spokesman added that all attempts by the Russians to advance were successfully repelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Ukrainian military destroys a lot of Russian equipment.
We remind you that, according to President Vladimir Zelensky, Russia aims to capture Chasov Yar on May 9. If Ukrainian troops remain, then Russia’s plans to launch a counteroffensive in June will be defeated.
