After a long delay in the United States, Europe realized how uncertain American support for Ukraine had become.
The countries of the European Union should provide more support to Ukraine, because the next aid package from the United States of America may be the last. This was announced on Sunday, April 21, by the head of the European Committee in the Bundestag, Anton Hofreiter, writes n-tv.
“This could be the last US aid package for a very long time – or even the last at all,” Hofreiter suggested.
According to him, American support for Ukraine has become uncertain, due to the long disagreement over the approval of the aid package.
“We, Europeans, must do more for Ukraine,” stressed the politician.
We remind you that on April 20, the House of Representatives of the American Congress passed a bill to provide almost $61 billion in aid to Ukraine. Most of this huge amount will go to military support.
US Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Mark Warner hopes that the Ukraine aid bill will reach Joe Biden for signature on April 23 or 24, which would trigger the delivery of long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.
