The Russian army shelled the center of one of the cities in the Sumy region.

On Friday, April 19, at about 12.00, the enemy fired artillery at Belopol, Sumy district. As a result of the attack, a 51-year-old civilian was seriously injured and died in hospital. Another man and two women were injured. The Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Telegram.
The Russian attack also damaged a high-rise building, cars, shops and a pharmacy.
Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the shelling and have begun a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In the future, the materials of the criminal proceedings will be transferred to the SBU.
Let us remind you that six people died in the Sinelnikovsky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region as a result of Russian shelling. Among the dead are three children. The enemy destroyed four houses and damaged about 30.
