The Bureau of Economic Security clarified that three officials of one of the regional branches of Ukrzaliznytsia and the director of the business received a message of suspicion.
Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine informed branch officials Ukrzaliznytsia about the suspicion of embezzlement of public funds. The BEB press service reported this on Friday, April 19.
Three officers of one of the regional branches received reports of suspicion Ukrzaliznytsia and business director.
“Based on the materials of the investigation before the trial, the limited liability company became the winner of the tender for the supply of railway linings to a government agency for UAH 8.7 million, for which a corresponding agreement was concluded containing technical specification according to which the rails will be made, but the buyer agreed to buy goods of inferior quality,” the message said.
As it turned out, the linings obtained as a result of the agreement contradict the requirements of GOST, and they do not have certain strength indicators.
The question of what steps the suspect can take has been decided.
We remind you that in Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region, the Bureau of Economic Security seized 35 tons of fake fuel from a network of gas stations.
It was earlier reported that the police had exposed an interregional criminal group that drained the locomotives Ukrzaliznytsia fuel for 1.5 million hryvnia.
