    .

This city is located approximately 600 km from the Ukrainian border, according to Public sources in the security services.

The station’s equipment is part of the reconnaissance and warning system for aerospace attacks. The first attack on an over-the-horizon detection radar in Kovilkino was reported on April 11. Then the building in which the command post was located was damaged. The consequences of the current attack are being clarified, our interlocutors added.

The target of the UAV was the 29B6 “Container” over-the-horizon radar with a target detection range of about 3 thousand km and a detection altitude of more than 100 km.
