Issues regarding the spread of online casinos in Ukraine are planned to be raised at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that the issue of threats to public safety due to the spread of online casinos and this unregulated area is being prepared for consideration by the National Security and Defense Council. He said this in his evening speech on April 16.
“All opportunities in this area to manipulate people and harm the interests of society must be thwarted,” the president said.
He also mentioned in his speech the author of the petition to limit online casinos, which started the discussion – junior sergeant of the 59th brigade Pavel Petrichenko, who died on April 15.
We remind you that the petition to limit the operation of online casinos on the website of the Office of the President received more than 26 thousand votes out of 25 thousand required for consideration.
