EasyJet has decided to stop its flights to Tel Aviv for the summer season until October 27.
British airline EasyJet has suspended flights to Israel for six months due to the Iranian attack. The Independent wrote this on Tuesday, April 16.
“Due to the constantly changing situation in Israel, EasyJet has decided to suspend its flights to Tel Aviv for the upcoming summer season until October 27,” the company said in a statement.
Customers who booked a flight to Israel before this date are offered other options, including a full refund of the cost of their purchased tickets.
EasyJet resumed flights to Israel on March 25, before the company announced it was halting flights to the country following Israel’s outbreak of war with the Palestinian group Hamas.
Let’s remember that on the night of April 14, Iran fired more than 300 missiles and drones at Israel, 99% of which were intercepted by air defense forces. Tehran called its attack “successful” and warned Israel not to retaliate.
Israeli authorities said they were exploring a wide range of options for Iran’s response to the attack. Meanwhile, the United States called on Israel not to take any steps that could escalate the conflict.
