The Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, warned Israel that in the event of retaliation, the Iranian armed forces would give a more significant response.
The massive Iranian strike on Israel was apparently “successful” and led to the fulfillment of the goals set by the Iranian command. This statement was made by the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, IRNA reported on Sunday, April 14.
“Thanks to well-thought-out tactics and careful planning, neither the Iron Dome missile defense system nor the missile defenses of the Zionist regime were able to offer significant resistance to this operation, said General Bagheri, adding that the operation achieved its objectives,” the agency reported.
According to him, the strike targeted a “major information center”, as well as the Nevatim airbase, where the F-35 aircraft that allegedly attacked the Iranian embassy in Syrian Damascus on April 1 were based.
“Both these centers were largely destroyed and became inactive,” Bagheri said.
He warned Israel that in the event of a retaliatory strike, Iran’s military will give a stronger response because its capabilities are 10 times greater than what was demonstrated tonight.
We remind you that on the night of April 14, Iran carried out a massive attack on Israel. The reason was the alleged Israeli attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria on April 1. Iranian military and diplomats were killed then, after which Iran issued an ultimatum.
The IDF later reported that air defenses intercepted 99% of the more than 300 air targets fired by Iran.
