The head of the country’s government said that defense systems have been deployed and the military is ready for any scenario, both in defense and attack.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, on the evening of Saturday, April 13, spoke to the people of the country about the attack by Iran, saying that Israel has been preparing for it for many years. His statement was broadcast on Israeli television.

In a speech to the citizens, the Prime Minister of Israel said that the country is prepared for a direct attack from Iran, both defensive and offensive, and will respond.

“Citizens of Israel, in recent years, and even more so in recent weeks, Israel has been preparing for the possibility of a direct attack from Iran. Our defense systems are deployed and we are ready for in any situation, both defensive and offensive. The state of Israel is strong, the Israeli Army is strong, the public is strong,” Netanyahu said.

He also expressed gratitude to the United States, Great Britain, France and other countries for their support. The head of government promised to respond to Iran’s attack.

“I have established a clear principle – whoever hurts us, we will defend ourselves against any threat, and we will do it calmly and decisively,” Netanyahu concluded.

Meanwhile, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces confirmed that Iran launched a UAV from its Israeli territory. It is noted that the army is familiar with this threat and knows how to deal with it.
