Latvia’s Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (PMLP) ordered 27 Russian citizens to leave the country. This was said by the Minister of Internal Affairs Richard Kozlovskis, LSM reports.

The minister noted that approximately 500 citizens of the Russian Federation who did not comply with the requirements of the amendments to the Immigration Law and did not provide any documents to obtain a residence permit in Latvia left the country on their own.
“The State Border Guard checked the declared places of residence, but no people were found in most of them,” said Kozlovskis.
It was previously reported that Latvia has ordered six Russians who no longer have residence permits to leave the country.
