There are no more deputies left in the Bureau of Economic Security. All have been appointed as managers and fired, said Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The government appointed a new acting Head of the Bureau of Economic Security (BEB), Sergei Perkhun. MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced this on Telegram on Tuesday, April 9.
“The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Sergei Perkhun as the new acting head of the Bureau of Economic Security,” the statement said.
Before this, since August 2023, Andrey Pashchuk served as the director of BEB. According to the current law on the BEB, in the event that its director is removed from office or absent, the powers of the head of the department are exercised by his first deputy, and in the event of his absence, by his deputy, but for no more than one year.
In this regard, Zheleznyak noted that there are no more deputies left in the BEB.
“Everyone has been reassigned as managers and fired,” said the citizen representative.
We would like to remind you that the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada recommended that the parliament adopt a new version of the bill No. 10439 on improving the work of the BEB in the first reading.
As you know, at the end of January the government registered two BES bills: About the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine And On amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and other legislative acts to improve the work of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine.
