The presidential service clarified that Zelensky spoke with the commander of the operational group of troops (OGV) Kharkiv Brigadier General Yuri Galushkin. He reported on the operational situation in his direction and readiness to counter potential threats from Russia.
The president also awarded state awards to military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard who distinguished themselves during the defense of the Kharkov region and the Bakhmut direction, as well as police officers and savior hero who overcomes the consequences of the Russian attack. in Kharkiv.
“I have the honor to be here today. It is not easy for Kharkov. But thanks to strong people like you, life has been preserved here. And I am sure: there will be victory in Kharkov and in our whole state,” Zelensky stressed.
