The number of victims as a result of the Russian missile attack in the Poltava region has increased to 12 people, including two children. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko.
According to him, about 100 rescuers worked in the Poltava region that night. The Russians launched a missile strike on the night of April 8 against a two-story apartment building where 30 people lived.
Two people were successfully rescued. One person died and 12 others were injured, including two children. Psychologists from the National Police and State Emergency Services provided assistance to approximately 20 people.
Klimenko added that two three-story houses, one four-story house and 10 cars were damaged. The rescue operation took more than three hours.
