The enemy terrorizes the city almost every day with missiles, bombs and kamikaze drones. The occupiers target places where civilians live. In this way, the enemy is trying to intimidate civilians. The head of the Kharkov OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, stated this after one of the latest shellings, writes The Times.
The head of the region added that every fifth resident of Kharkov and its environs is classified as “internally displaced persons” because many civilians had to be evacuated from villages bordering Russia.
The article quoted Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov as saying that “Kharkov should be wiped off the face of the earth.” Journalists point out that the city’s proximity to the Donetsk basin and its position in the center of the railways means that it is of strategic importance. Kharkov is located 40 km from the Russian border. That is why, as The Times writes, his hobby would allow the Russian invaders to cordon off the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass.
Let us recall that on April 6, Russian attack drones of the “Shahed” type attacked Kharkov. The UAV arrived through a residential area in the Shevchenko district. The attack killed six people. At least 10 Kharkov residents were injured.
