In particular, the occupiers use the labor of persons with disabilities as slave labor. This was reported today, April 7, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
They are often forced to work overtime without consent. Moreover, the occupiers use such people on weekends, and, of course, we are not talking about double payment for hours worked, the message says.
The CNS notes that such actions of racists are not only a violation of the fundamental rights of persons with disabilities, but also a frankly humanitarian crisis that threatens their physical and mental health, since this category of people requires a special approach and support from society.
Therefore, there is an immediate need for the intervention of international public organizations and humanitarian agencies to protect the rights of people with disabilities in the temporarily occupied territories, the CNS notes. “Such practices must be stopped, and the relevant perpetrators must be brought to justice before an international court for their crimes against humanity.”
The CNS is also encouraged to report crimes of the occupation authorities to the appropriate chatbot.
