Tandyr, by the decision of the court and at the request of the prosecutor, will be detained without setting bail for another two months – until June 2 inclusive.
The Svyatoshinsky District Court of the city of Kyiv has again extended the preventive measure for judge Alexei Tandyr, who shot a National Guard soldier to death at a checkpoint in Kyiv. The Kiev City Prosecutor’s Office reported this on April 4.
It was noted that Tandir, by the decision of the court and at the request of the prosecutor, will be detained without setting bail for another two months – until June 2 inclusive.
Let’s recall that on May 26, 2023, a tandoor at a checkpoint in Kyiv shot and killed 23-year-old National Guard soldier Vadim Bondarenko. The investigation revealed that Tandoor was drunk at the time of the accident.
At the beginning of August, the State Investigation Bureau reported that they had completed the pre-trial investigation of the accident with the participation of Judge Alexey Tandir.
The court has remanded the defendants in custody several times; previously, the preventive measure was extended until April 12.
