The Security Service spoke about a traitor who corrected a missile attack on a cafe in the center of Kramatorsk on June 27, 2023.
Then the counterintelligence of the SBU detained the attacker “hot on his heels.” He turned out to be a local resident who, even before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, was recruited by Russian military intelligence.
According to the investigation, on June 27 last year he received a hostile task to find out whether the above-mentioned cafe was open and to record the presence of visitors.
To carry out this instruction, the agent secretly filmed the establishment and sent the filmed file to his Russian curator.
After receiving intelligence information, the occupiers carried out a targeted missile strike on the cafe in which there were people.
As a result of the fire, 13 local residents were killed, including 3 children. Another 64 people were injured of varying degrees of severity.
As the investigation established, the hostile spotter is a resident of Kramatorsk, Vladimir Sinelnik, an employee of a local gas transportation company.
While communicating with acquaintances, he repeatedly expressed his pro-Kremlin views and thus came to the attention of the Russian intelligence service.
Based on materials from the Security Service, the court found him guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state betrayal committed under martial law).
