The enemy began to resort to such actions after Ukraine carried out a number of successful attacks on Russian airfields, both in the occupied territories and in Russia. In particular, at the Kirovskoye airfield in occupied Crimea, drawings of silhouettes of Russian fighters appeared on the concrete. The British Ministry of Defense announced this on April 2 on the social network X.
It is noted that similar scenes were also observed at at least 12 more Russian air bases. All this proves that Moscow is very concerned about future Ukrainian attacks and the ability to resist them.
However, British intelligence indicates that Russian helicopters still regularly land on erroneous fighter jet silhouettes. Thus, the attempt at deception is completely frustrated.
Let us remind you that on the night of March 20, power steering drones attacked the city of Engels in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation, an airfield with strategic bombers. Satellite images for March 19 showed that there were 11 aircraft in Engels, including nine bombers – six Tu-95 and three Tu-160.
