The corresponding video today, April 1, was published on his Facebook page.
This is the Ai-Petri SV complex – not just electronic warfare, but a real new generation cyber weapon created by our team,” Poroshenko emphasized. “It doesn’t just spread noise across all frequency bands, but clearly intercepts the pilot’s position, prevents Russian UAVs from operating, completely disorients FPV drones, and even interferes with the operation of the spacecraft.
According to Poroshenko, this development is no longer just electronic warfare, but, according to NATO classification, “a means of cyber attack.” He noted that the first complexes are already operating in the Avdeevsky direction, where they protect the lives of artillerymen.
In the fall of 2023, Poroshenko reported that he had invested 150 million UAH. in the development of a new electronic warfare system. The project was to be carried out by one of the secret companies of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, which has been producing electronic warfare systems since 2014.
Typically, the development of such a complex takes from 3 to 8 years, but we completed it in less than 5 months and are already working on scaling, because we have many orders from the military,” he now noted.
The complex consists of:
- electronic warfare;
- modern radar station;
- anti-drone device;
- secure communication;
- autonomous power supply;
- pickup;
- control headquarters.
According to Poroshenko, the project was created without attracting government funds.
The first complexes were handed over to the crews of the 18th Center for Countering Technical Intelligence, who must undergo an intensive training course, since this is a complex technological complex.
Unfortunately, we can’t show everything on video, because the occupiers are hunting for a model that is already working at the front,” Poroshenko noted.
Volunteer Yuri Biryukov reported on his Facebook page that in the five months during which development continued, there were two months of combat work of the test complex, which consisted of covering the guns of one of the artillery brigades. According to him, during this time there was not a single case of guns hitting Russian drones.
Today, the first five SERIAL complexes “Ai-Petri SV” have been handed over, and production is being launched at full capacity,” he noted. “And the project is just beginning, just unfolding, thanks to the efforts of scientists, designers, military personnel and volunteers.
