The Russian intelligence service posted a video in which the detainee allegedly admitted that he “brought weapons to the terrorists who shot Crocus City Hall.”
The FSB of the Russian Federation announced that it allegedly “established the involvement” of militants preparing terrorist attacks, detained the previous day in Dagestan, in financing and providing the attack on the hall of Crocus City Hall concert. The pro-government Russian news agency reports this in connection with the Center for Public Relations (CSR) of the FSB. Interfax on Monday, April 1st.
The Russian intelligence service claimed that on Sunday the activities of “four foreign citizens who prepared a terrorist attack in the populated areas of Kaspiysk” were stopped. The likely militants “conducted reconnaissance in the area, made an improvised explosive device and obtained automatic weapons,” and “now, after carrying out the terrorist attack, they intend to leave Russia.”
The National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) reported that during the counter-terrorism operation conducted in Makhachkala and Kaspiysk, three militants planning terrorist attacks were detained.
Russian social networks claim that those detained in Dagestan are planning an explosion at the embankment or Victory Park in Kaspiysk.
The Russians also posted a video in which one of the militants told the FSB interrogation that “he delivered weapons to the terrorists who shot Crocus City Hall. He delivered them from Makhachkala to Mytishche.
The detainee also allegedly transferred money to the terrorists. According to him, “the terrorist attack has no specific purpose” and the main thing is “that the explosion should happen to a crowd of people.”
