Ukraine could use Hungarian territory for grain supply in conditions of blockade of ports, Szijjarto said.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó has proposed to deliver Ukrainian grain to the country, reports The Guardian.
“Hungary has offered its territory as a possible route for the export of Ukrainian grain in connection with the violation of standard routes through the Black Sea due to the aggression on Russia,” he said after the meeting of EU foreign ministers.
Szijjarto also said he did not expect disruptions to Russia’s gas supplies to Hungary.
It will be recalled that on June 16, EU leaders from Kyiv appealed to Russia with a call to immediately end the blockade of Ukrainian ports.
In response, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation does not interfere with the export of Ukrainian grain.
