After a missile launched by the Russian Federation over Ukraine flew into Polish territory, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Russian Ambassador Sergei Andreev.
Russian Ambassador Sergei Andreev left Polish territory. This happened after he was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to explain the missile incident on March 24. Polish Radio reported this on Wednesday, March 27.
It is indicated that the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pavel Vronsky told reporters that the Russian Ambassador to Poland Sergei Andreev did not come to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to explain the incident with a Russian cruise missile which violated Polish airspace. .
The Russian embassy in a technical note informed the Foreign Ministry that he will not be in the country from March 26 to April 4.
In this regard, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that the Russian ambassador was not expelled and was not asked for his resignation.
Poland will soon respond to Russia for the violation of the country’s airspace and the actions of the Russian Ambassador, who refused to go to the Foreign Ministry in Warsaw when requested in connection with this incident.
Let’s recall that on March 24, a Russian missile violated Polish airspace in the area of the village of Oserdów, Lublin Voivodeship, and stayed there for 39 seconds.
Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh later said the military would have shot down the Russian missile if they were confident it was heading for some domestic target. And the Polish Armed Forces said they did not shoot down the missile so as not to create a danger for the local population.
