The first meeting of this coalition took place in Warsaw on Tuesday, March 26. The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk. This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
Four syndicates were created within the armored vehicle coalition. Each syndicate is assigned specific tasks:
- supply of weapons and ammunition for Western armored vehicles;
- their maintenance and repair;
- training of crews and technical personnel;
- development of effective tactics for using armored vehicles on the battlefield.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that in the long term, the countries participating in the tank coalition and the coalition of armored vehicles will help in creating the future armored fleet of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An innovation-industrial partnership will also be established.
Let us recall that on March 19, as part of a meeting of the Ramstein contact group, a new coalition of “long-range rocket artillery assets” was created for the Ukrainian army. The initiators were France, Germany and Poland.
