The attackers tried to blow up a section of the railway line connecting the central and eastern regions of Ukraine. To do this, they planted an improvised explosive device near the track and power supply system of the rolling stock. The explosion was planned to be carried out remotely. The Russian agents were caught red-handed by the Security Service of Ukraine. The secret service press center reported this on March 26.
It turned out that residents of the Kyiv and Kharkov regions were working for the enemy. Their supervisor was a career employee of the 5th FSB service, who ordered the sabotage.
Both detainees were informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28, part 2 art. 113 (sabotage committed under martial law by prior conspiracy by a group of persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They face life imprisonment.
Let us remind you that in the Kyiv region, the SBU detained a traitor who planned to settle in the National Police in order to collect information about the units of the “Offensive Guard” and about the movement of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
