The rivers of the Chernihiv region contain high water levels. Roads may be flooded. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Tuesday, March 26.
“On March 26-28, on the Desna River and its tributary the Snov River, flooding of floodplain areas and floodplain roads will continue, disrupting transport connections to individual villages in Novgorod-Seversky, Koyukovsky, Nezhinsky, and Chernigov regions. ,” the message said.
In this regard, the State Emergency Service declared the danger level I – yellow.
It was noted that in the Upper Dnieper (inland) there will be flooding of the floodplain with disruption of transport links in a number of river villages along the Sozh and Dnieper waters in the Chernigov region. Danger level II is declared – orange.
We remind you that earlier in the Chernigov region, due to flooding, transport connections in three villages were stopped. In Volyn, due to the increase in the water level in the rivers of the Pripyat basin, more than 13.7 thousand hectares of agricultural land were flooded and inundated.
