Energy supply restrictions continue to apply in Kharkov. Shutdown schedules may be introduced in two more regions, Ukrenergo reported on Sunday, March 24.
Thus, in Kharkov, network restrictions continue to apply, caused by damage to energy infrastructure facilities after the Russian shelling on March 22. According to the Ministry of Energy, hourly restrictions apply to 200 thousands of shoppers in the city. Due to the large amount of damage, it is impossible to heal all subscribers at the same time.
“In Odessa and Khmelnytskyi, closing schedules may be applied if consumption increases,” the message said.
Also, during the air raid alarm, the overhead line ensuring the operation of the backup power circuit of the Zaporozhye NPP was turned off.
“The reliability of power supply at Zaporizhzhya NPP has been restored – the switched-off line has been returned to operation. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, specialists from Ukrenergo and oblenergo have resumed power supply to industry and supply of heat to household consumers,” the company added.
In general, the morning missile attack did not significantly affect the operation of the energy system, but UAVs attacked energy facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
Debris damaged part of the equipment at one of the substations and a high-voltage power line. At the same time, interruptions in the supply of heat were recorded in Krivoy Rog and there were interruptions in the technological process in individual industrial enterprises.
We remind you that on the night of March 24, an air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine. 14 TU-95MS bombers – carriers of cruise missiles – took off. After a while, Kyiv residents heard explosions. The enemy also tried to attack the western regions of Ukraine.
Later, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported shooting down 43 enemy targets. In total, the enemy used 29 missiles and 28 drones.
It was also noted that one of the Russian missiles had violated Polish airspace.
