Deputy of the Kharkov Regional Council Alexander Skorik announced this on the air of the Kyiv channel.
We counted 17 arrivals of S-300 missiles. All attacks were carried out on energy infrastructure facilities. There are terrible consequences: our subway, traffic lights, electric transport do not work, there is no energy supply for 700 thousand subscribers, there are problems with water and sewerage,” Skorik said.
The head of the Kharkov Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, previously said that a 43-year-old employee of one of the energy infrastructure facilities was injured as a result of the shelling. His condition is satisfactory, he received medical assistance.
The metro in Kharkov on March 22 operates solely as a shelter.
Pavel Yakimenko, a people’s deputy from the Servant of the People faction, said that all invincibility points are open in Kharkov. The Kharkov station has been switched to backup power; all trains, including high-speed Hyundai Rotem electric trains, will be operated by diesel traction.
