Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson said at a press conference on March 20 that the priority of Congress is to agree on the US government budget for 2024, and since this issue has already been almost resolved, the aid package for Ukraine and partners will be included in the near future.

Answering clarifying questions from journalists about the format in which aid to Ukraine could be put to a vote, Johnson said that this issue is now being actively discussed.
Among the available options, he named:
- separation of defense and humanitarian aid to Ukraine;
- providing credit assistance;
- use of the REPO Act – a bill on the confiscation of Russian assets and the transfer of these funds to Kyiv, Voice of America reports.
At the same time, after March 22, a two-week break in the House of Representatives begins, so legislators will most likely move on the bill on financing assistance to Ukraine and Israel after April 8.
