Ukraine received 2 billion Canadian dollars from Canada, which is equivalent to 1.5 billion US dollars. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal announced this on Wednesday, March 20, on Telegram.
“Funds that will help our Government finance the deficit, in particular, social programs to help Ukrainians,” Szmigal wrote.
According to the head of the Ukrainian government, the total amount of financial support from Canada since the beginning of the full Russian invasion is about 7 billion Canadian dollars.
Canada, as part of new military aid, will transfer a batch of night vision devices to Ukraine.
We added that Ukraine has signed a security agreement with Canada, which stipulates that Canada can conduct training activities in Ukraine, “under favorable circumstances.”
