The defeat of enemy forces and assets occurred with the help of artillery, including the use of cluster munitions.
In addition, reconnaissance drones, drop quadcopters and FPV drones were actively used.
On March 18, it was reported that the Ukrainian military, using FPV drones, destroyed the Russian 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer in the Donetsk region.
It was also reported that the battalion of attack unmanned aerial systems “Achilles” of the 92nd separate assault brigade hit four units of enemy equipment in the Bakhmut direction.
The battalion’s FPV drones hit an enemy T-72B3 six times, causing significant damage.
In addition, accurate hits destroyed an enemy BMP-2, equipped with an anti-drone barbecue on the turret, and one BMP-1.
An armored repair and recovery vehicle and an armored personnel carrier (BTR-70) of the occupiers were also hit.
