In the Sumy region, enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups tried to penetrate deep into Ukraine; they were prevented by border guards together with soldiers of the Defense Forces.

The press service of the State Tax Service reported this today, March 17.
We are talking about three cases:
- in the first, border guards discovered several people from the enemy DRG moving from the territory of the aggressor country. They opened fire on the saboteurs, and a shooting battle ensued;
- in the other two cases, border guards, together with the Ukrainian Armed Forces, discovered enemy enemy enemy forces in advance and opened fire to kill.
To strengthen the directions of the enemy’s DRG activities, reserves of the State Navigation Service, NSU and Armed Forces units were deployed, and artillery and mortar crews were involved, the department noted. – In all three cases, the enemy’s plans were thwarted, the enemy retreated back.
