The attack on Odessa today, March 15, was probably carried out by the Reshetians with Iskander-M missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was stated by Natalya Gumenyuk, a representative of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Radio Liberty reports.
According to her, according to preliminary information there were two missiles. As a result:
- a three-story building of a recreational facility was destroyed;
- at least 10 private houses were damaged;
- service station damaged.
In the Odessa OVA, 16 deaths are reported so far.
It is known that among the dead are former deputy city mayor Sergei Tetyukhin and commander of the Tsunami battalion, ex-chief of the region’s patrol police, Alexander Gostishchev. Deputies of the Odessa City Council Andrey Vagapov and the Odessa District Council Vitaly Barvinenko, as well as the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov, reported this on their pages.
Gostishchev headed the patrol police of the Odessa region in 2019, and in 2021 became deputy chief of the Odessa police. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he became commander of the Tsunami battalion.
Tetyukhin resigned from the city council in the fall of 2023 and mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the City Council, he first worked as director of the economic development department, later headed the transport department, was deputy mayor, and since May 2023, first deputy mayor.
