The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the city and region using RM-70 Vampire rocket systems.

Yesterday, March 14, according to Russian media, two Russians were killed in the region and at least 19 were injured.
The Russians said that on the morning of March 15 they shot down seven rockets from the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system over the Belgorod region.
During the shelling in Belgorod, an air raid alert was announced. As RIA Novosti propagandists reported, due to the missile threat, people who came to vote in the Russian presidential elections left the polling station and went into hiding.
In less than 15 minutes, the missile alert was canceled and voting continued. At the same time, in Belgorod itself, judging by photographs and videos of local residents, several cars and houses were damaged. At least one car was burned out. Local authorities have not yet reported the consequences of the shelling.
Rakurs wrote that in recent days, attacks on Belgorod and the Belgorod region have become more intense amid reports of battles with Russian formations fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the border areas of the region.
On March 15, three-day voting for the presidential election began in Russia and the annexed territories of Ukraine. The main and last voting day is March 17.
