In one of the districts of Tbilisi (Georgia), on the night of March 14, a powerful explosion occurred in a building that combines commercial areas and residential apartments. This was reported by the Echo of the Caucasus.
The incident happened at night in the Didube area on Samtredia Street in a commercial area where renovations are underway.
As a result of the explosion, ground floor frames were knocked over and neighboring apartments, houses and cars were damaged. No one was killed or injured.
According to preliminary data, the explosion may have caused a gas leak. 93 families living in apartments in the same building were temporarily housed until experts could assess its technical condition after the explosion.
