In the Belgorod and Kursk regions of Russia on the night of Thursday, March 14, local authorities announced an attack by Ukrainian drones.
So, in the Belgorod region, drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the village of Prokhorovka, as the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
At 03:01, he wrote that two drones “crashed and then exploded.”
According to him, as a result of the first explosion, the roof of a private house caught fire, windows were broken and the facade was damaged. A second drone allegedly exploded near the same house – the explosion damaged a nearby private residential building. The façade and fence have also been cut.
No one was killed as a result of the attack, the governor said.
Half an hour ago, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoyt, warned about the threat of drones in the region.
At 03:42 he wrote that the air defense was operating in Kursk and the Kursk region.
Let’s recall that on March 12, units of the Freedom of Russia Legion, the RDK and the Siberian Battalion crossed the border of the Russian Federation and entered the territory of the Belgorod and Kursk regions.
It was also reported that Russian volunteers from the Russian Freedom Legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Siberian Battalion were preparing to attack Russian Army military positions in Belgorod and Kursk.
