The Aviation of the Defense Forces carried out strikes on 8 areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated and a Russian control point.

In the past 24 hours, 72 military clashes between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders took place on the front. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on the morning of March 12.

It was noted that in total the enemy launched 8 missiles and 114 air strikes, carried out 107 attacks from multiple rocket launch systems on positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and populated areas. There have been civilian deaths and injuries as a result of terrorist attacks in Russia.

In the past 24 hours, Progress settlements in the Chernihiv region have received air strikes; Obukhovka, Ambanoye, Kupyansk, Petropavlovka, Kharkov region; Krivoshievka and Belogorivka, Lugansk region; Druzhba, Toretsk, Terny, Yampolevka, Fedorovka, Chasov Yar, Novokalinovo, Novobakhmutovka, Zavetnoye, Alexandropol, Novopokrovskoye, Novoselovka Pervaya, Novomikhailovka, Vodyanoye, Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region; Novoandreevka, Novodanilovka and Rabotino, Zaporozhye region; Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region.

More than 145 settlements of Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions are under artillery.

According to the General Staff, in the directions of Volyn and Polesie the operational situation remains without significant changes.

Under the direction of Seversky and Slobozhansky, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, carries out sabotage activities to prevent the movement of our troops in threatening directions, and increases the density of mines and explosives state border barrier in the Belgorod region.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSGV Khortitsa in the direction of Kupyansky, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions (attack).

In the direction of Liman, our soldiers repelled 15 attacks of the Russian Federation in the areas of settlements of Belogorovka in the Lugansk region, Grigorovka and Terny in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 6 Russian attacks in the areas of the settlements of Klishchievka, Andreevka, Stupochki and east of Chasovoy Yar in the Donetsk region.

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSGV Tavria in the Avdeevsky direction, our defenders repelled 16 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdichi, Orlovka, Tonenkoye, Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye settlements in the Donetsk region.

In the direction of Novopavlovsk, the Defense Forces continue to stop the attackers in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka and Pobeda in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 21 times to destroy the defenses of our troops. .

In the Orekhovsky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 7 times in Rabotino, Staromayorsky and northwest of the Verbovoy Zaporozhye region.

In the area of ​​responsibility of the OSGV Odessa in the direction of Kherson, the Russian Federation does not abandon its intention to remove our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. During the day, 1 attempt was made to storm the positions of our troops.
