In Sumy, rescue work has been completed at the site of the missile strike carried out by the Russians yesterday, March 7.

This was reported by the press service of the Sumy Department of Internal Affairs.
As a result of the strike, two people were killed and 26 were injured. Six people are in medical institutions.
The premises of the school, the central city hospital, the regional emergency medical care center, and the water utility were damaged. In total, 135 windows and 10 doors were broken. In particular:
- 28 windows and two doors were damaged in the hospital. The windows are closed and the area is being cleaned. The establishment is open, hospitalization is being carried out;
- in the Sumy Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, an administrative building was damaged, 36 window blocks, a ceiling on four floors, three dormer windows on the roof, a garage room, 12 window blocks, six emergency vehicles, and window blocks in utility rooms were knocked out and damaged. A total of 59 window units were damaged;
- in the regional blood center, 21 windows and two entrance doors were damaged;
- in a communal building of the Sumy Regional Council, four windows, doors and a roof were damaged;
- 12 windows, two doors, and a building wall were damaged in the educational institution;
- electricity supply, heat supply, central water supply and drainage system have been restored. The establishment is operating as usual;
- Six windows were damaged in the Training and Production Center;
- in the service station building, all windows on the gates and in the workshop of the building were damaged;
- Five windows and three doors were damaged in the water utility building.
16 units of equipment and 92 rescuers were involved in the work to eliminate the consequences of the missile strike, the OVA noted.
