Speaker of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko stated this during a briefing, the Ukrinform agency reports.
At the moment, Russia does not have sufficient forces on the territory of Belarus to take any actions towards Ukraine in this direction,” he emphasized.
Demchenko noted that border guards do not observe any movement of equipment or personnel near the border. He added that intelligence is monitoring the situation in Belarus and if Russia takes any steps to build up its forces, additional decisions will be made in this direction.
