Hungary confirms agreement with China on joint patrols

The Hungarian government has confirmed rumors that the Ministry of the Interior of the country has a cooperation agreement with the Chinese police, which provides, in particular, for joint patrols in Hungary. European Truth writes about this in relation to Telex.

It was noted that in the future, law enforcement officers of both countries will be able to conduct joint patrols, which will ensure more effective communication between citizens and authorities of both countries, improve internal security and order of public.

It is also reported that it can be useful during the peak tourist season in the most popular areas and at major events where many Chinese citizens may attend.

The ministry says that we are not talking about some unprecedented level of cooperation, and there are also similar agreements with Croatia on beach resorts, and the Austrian police conduct joint patrols with the Hungarian around Lake Balaton.
