Seven people were injured, including a 10-year-old child. As a result of the Shahed attack, premises in 11 apartment buildings and the building of a preschool educational institution were damaged. About 20 cars were also damaged. The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this.
Prosecutors, in collaboration with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of the shootings. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war – Part 1 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that on the night of March 6, Russian invaders attacked Sumy with Shahed-type drones. Three hits were recorded – one on a critical infrastructure facility, and the others on civilian objects. Rescuers had to put out fires in three apartments and work in other areas where there were consequences of the arrivals.
