Since mid-February, the State Border Service began using the “Obereg” registry to strengthen counteraction to illegal travel abroad.

On March 5, the State Border Service announced that, together with the Ministry of Defense, it had established an exchange between the State National Security Service database and the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons liable for Military Service and Reservists. This allows you to expose fake documents and quickly check information about those liable for military service.
Previously, in order to confirm the validity of documents for traveling abroad, border guards had to contact directly with representatives of the TCC and SP. Now information about this can be quickly checked online through the Amulet registry.
Over the past 3 weeks, border guards have stopped 230 attempts to illegally cross the border using fake documents.
