In the Kherson region, as part of the Plich-o-plich initiative, more than a third of the houses destroyed by the Russian army have been repaired. This is about 40% of the planned cost in the first phase of the project. This was announced by the head of Kherson OVA, Alexander Prokudin, writes the OVA press service.
It was noted that work continues on 112 sites, and in 2024 they plan to rebuild 1,535 houses. Prokudin added that 114 families have already received compensation for house repairs and purchase of building materials under the єVіdnovlennya program.
“This is almost 15 million UAH. Since the beginning of the year, more than 450 applications for payments have been submitted. Another 14 displaced families will be able to buy new houses. They received housing certificates for 14.5 million UAH. In total, 125 applications were submitted, whose commissions are now being processed,” the message said.
