The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky reported on the rotation of brigades and personnel decisions within them.
President Vladimir Zelensky held a daily conference call. They discussed the audit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the supply of weapons and the elimination of the consequences of Russian shelling. The Ukrainian head of state announced this on Telegram on Monday, March 4.
“I received the latest information about the rescue operation in Odessa. The removal of rubble has been completed. Now it is important that people receive all the necessary assistance as soon as possible, including new housing to replace the lost. I ordered the head of the OBA to control it,” Zelensky wrote.
He also said that the elimination of the consequences of the shelling of Kurakhovo, where the Russian invaders hit a residential area with a controlled aerial bomb, continues.
“Fortunately, no one died there, but many were injured. People are also being given all the necessary assistance,” added the president.
Zelensky heard from Minister Rustem Umerov and representatives of the Ministry of Defense about actual receipts of weapons and ammunition, as well as planned receipts in March.
“Heard the commander-in-chief (Alexander Syrsky, – ed..) in the operational situation in the main directions, audit of the Armed Forces, rotation of brigades and personnel decisions within their borders. Reports from the intelligence services, the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are required,” he said.
Zelensky also spoke about the good dynamics of the grain corridor.
“We are approaching the mark of 30 million tons of cargo, of which more than 8 million tons were exported in February alone. We continue to develop alternative routes: along the Danube and through Moldova,” he added.
Earlier, Zelensky said that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, has carte blanche for any personnel changes in the army.
In turn, Syrsky said that he made changes in several brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
