In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy is attacking the village of Ivanovskoye, there are fierce battles there, the main goal of the enemy is to capture Chasovoy Yar. The head of the press service of the Eastern Group of Forces, Ilya Yevlash, spoke about this in the telethon.
“Currently, in the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy continues to attack the village of Ivanovskoye, there are fierce battles already inside the city. Our military is fighting heroically and trying to push the enemy back from the occupied lines,” he said.
Yevlash noted that the enemy is also trying to attack the village of Bogdanovka, which is north of the village of Chasov Yar.
“Airborne units, motorized rifle regiments and a combat army reserve are being deployed there. The enemy’s goal is to capture the village of Chasov Yar, but so far it has not succeeded. He noted that the Ukrainian defenders are holding line and not allowing the enemy to advance,” the spokesperson emphasized.
Earlier, the General Staff reported that the Russians were attacking in different directions. During the day, 68 military clashes took place on the front. In total, the enemy carried out 5 missile and 44 air strikes, and 54 shelling from the MLRS.
