Two trucks with cars on the front were stuck in front of the Medika-Shegini checkpoint. The Polish police are not responding to the situation in any way.
The Polish farmers blocking the border of Ukraine do not allow cargo for the military, which is expected at the front, to pass through. It was announced on Sunday, March 3, on social networks. X volunteer Nazar Smyk.
According to him, two trucks carrying four Daf military trucks were stuck in front of the Medyka-Shegini checkpoint.
“These are demilitarized military trucks that are going to one of the funds, they have been paid for. They will be distributed on the spot between the brigades, specifically for the 12th Special Purpose Brigade Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine. The Poles are not to let them in. I talked to the embassy, they said the whole border is closed. The police tried to move the trucks to the second checkpoint, but there they pass one truck every hour, if I go there, I will have a few days- stuck,” Zaxid.net reported Smyk’s words.
At the same time, the volunteer noted that the Polish police did not respond to the situation in any way.
He added that this situation of delaying military equipment at the border has continued since the beginning of the grain blockade; logistics increased from five to 14 days. Another six trucks and trailers sat in the Netherlands for two weeks because carriers couldn’t get them.
We remind you that Polish farmers have been blocking the Ukrainian border for several weeks. They do not allow trucks to pass through the checkpoint, and also destroy Ukrainian agricultural products.
