French President Emmanuel Macron has shown his determination to do more to help Ukraine in its war with the Russian Federation and not discussing the use of French capabilities would be a serious mistake, says Jean-Noël Barrot , Minister Delegate for European Affairs at the French Foreign Ministry, JDD reports.

“The struggle of the Ukrainians is our struggle. By resisting the aggressor, they are fighting for the security of Europe and France, because the imperialist fantasies of Vladimir Putin are clearly not limited to Ukraine,” said the minister- delegate

Barro recalled Macron’s meeting with EU leaders, which he said showed the unity and determination of these countries to do more, better and differently to meet the needs of the Ukrainian resistance.

“It is a serious mistake to exclude the discussion of our capabilities. It would be criminal to surrender in the spirit of surrender. Our firmness in front of Putin is the key to our security,” he emphasized.
