This is reported by OSINT channels on X (Twitter).
The OF-56IM-1m extended-range 122-mm high-explosive artillery shells, which the Russian army began to receive before the 122-mm D-30 howitzers, have some similarities with Chinese 122-mm shells.

It is not yet known whether these shells are produced on Russian territory, or whether China transfers them directly as part of assistance.
“Military” notes that the new OF-56IM-1m shells have a 4 km longer flight range than conventional 122-mm high-explosive fragmentation shells. According to Russian sources, the arrival of new shells has made it possible to overcome a severe shortage, since the pace of their production in Russia is low.
In addition to Chinese shells, Russia is actively using at the front artillery shells produced by the DPRK, which are actively supplied from this country to the artillery units of the occupiers on the territory of Ukraine.
